What Blu Ray player should i buy?

Electronics FAQs
I am looking to buy a blu ray player, and i have a vizio tv and its an HD, but it is not a 1080p. Will all blu ray players still enhance the video quality or not, I am wondering because i plan on getting a 1080p tv eventually, but i want a blu ray player that can work on a low quality HDTV and a high quality TV. Just any info on blu ray players would be a huge help, thanks.

Blu-ray players have dropped so much, they are around $100 now! Panasonic, Sony, LG and Samsung are the top brands.
I would check some reviews on Amazon for the best one out there:http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fs%3Fie%3DUTF8%26ref_%3Dnb%255Fss%26field-keywords%3Dblu-ray%2520player%26url%3Dsearch-alias%253Daps&tag=alldevs-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=390957
If you want a very good "all in one" system then try a Sony PS3 (games, media and blu-ray)

If you have a 720p buying a blu ray player wont hurt anything that is suppose to be used for 1080p your image just wont be as high quality as it could be.

Go for it. You won’t have full HD, but 720p is HD.
Just set your player to 720p output. No need to set it to any other resolution because the TV will have to down convert it anyway.
