Please don’t say the iPhone as I can not stand Apple, I have had nothing but problems with Apple products in the past!
I was looking at the new Nokia N8, but also thinking about the Samsung Galaxy range. Any tech heads out there with feedback on either of these, or another model I should look into?

I won a Nokia N8 at a conference this weekend. The Nokia people said it would work on either AT&T or T-mobile – does this mean the phone is "unlocked"?

If not, how do I check to see if it is? I see plenty of websites that let me unlock the phone, but I don’t know how to just check to see if it already is unlocked.
