Playstation portable PSP vs portable dvd player?

Can anyone tell me which one has the better battery life. I am taking a long flight where I need to be entertained for about 10 hours and I am trying to decide which one to get. In other words, what is the average battery life while watching movies for the PSP and for a portable dvd player (side question, which dvd player has the best battery life?)

The PSP has a battery life of about 4-6 hours. DVD players have a rough estimate of about 6 hours, but I found one that is said to have over 7 hours(source). Yes, that is not 10 hours, but they really haven’t designed anything to play movies that long. I mean, that’s around 5 movies right there.
Try playing some other portable game system, or, if worse comes to worse, reading something after the battery life goes out.

With a PSP there are many accesories that can go with it, and i’m pretty sure that they have a battery booster, and you woldn’t want to watch the PSP for a long time, like movie to movie back to back, you might want to take a break so the battery won’t drain as quickly.
