Using The Power Of The Mind For Success And Prosperity

Looking back through history, it is evident that the power of the mind has been known for aeons. Many ancient civilizations show evidence of there knowledge. Unfortunately, some of the ancient knowledge has been lost over the many years, but it is now being rediscovered.

It is much easier to take control over your life than you think. Often times we mould ourselves to be what we think others think we are. By imagining yourself as a successful and prosperous person you can actually become successful. By using positive affirmations we are able to become who we always wanted to be.

The most successful people have many of the same attributes in common. Most successful people are goal oriented, are very ambitious and think positively. Persistence and determination are also found in most successful people. However, true success cannot be achieved without happiness. Happiness can be created by positive thinking. When you think positively about yourself and the world around you then you have the ability to take control of your life.

What we think has a direct effect on where we go in life. If you are constantly thinking negative thoughts then your life will go towards negativity. When things are constantly going wrong for you this is generally because you are thinking very negatively. This can be a hard cycle to break but is something that you have to do to achieve success.

A money mindset for prosperity can include the use of success affirmations. It is best to review affirmations daily and early morning upon waking, and late evening before sleep are good time to access the deeper and more powerful regions of the subconscious mind.

If you want to break the cycle of negative thinking you can try an experiment. Choose a day to change your thought habits When you wake up you will only focus on positive things. Be happy that the sun is out or that you have a warm home. Every minute you need to think about good things and dwell on the positive. Have gratitude for all the wonderful things in your day.

By keeping negative thoughts at bay you will then only have room for positive thinking. This will help to create a positive environment around you. At the end of the day think back on the day and you will realize how much thinking positively helped. As you increase the your positive energy vibration you attract more positive things into your experiences.

It can take time to really start to think positively throughout the day. It is a learned behavior just like thinking negatively is a learned behavior. That is why we use affirmations to help re-train our brains to think positively. Before you know it your brain will be thinking positively on a subconscious level and you won’t even realize it. It will take a lot of time and hard work though to achieve this level, but the benefits are so worth it.

As your mind starts to think more positive thoughts the negative thoughts will disappear. This will also be reflected in your life and the people around you. When you have a positive aura you will attract things to you. People will notice a change in you, and people will start to view you differently.

If you are stuck in a negative thinking rut then it is time that you use affirmations to break the cycle. Start off each day with positive affirmations and before you go to bed at night. By practicing thinking positively you will get better and better at it. Before you know it your mind will be trained to think positive thoughts. This will have an affect on your whole life.

You can develop your money mindset for prosperity by using prosperity affirmations. It is becoming more and more understood how the power of the mind can attract things to us. By using prosperity affirmations we can attract wealth and abundance into our lives.

Affirmations are like excercies for the mind to develop its happiness and manifestation muscle. Affirmations work almost as a magic potion if you will that can bring about peace of mind, happiness, success, freedom from worries and spiritual prosperity.

The human brain has great capacity and we only use a small percentage of our brain power in our daily lives. Our brains are never fully utilized because we are not programmed in the right way. However, through affirmations we can open up parts of our potential that weren’t there before.

In the book Rich Dad Poor Dad it is explained that what a child learns during childhood is what has the greatest influence on his or her life. Therefore, by saying affirmations at a very young age you can get more of what you desire. And affirmations can also be used to help change the programs that were embedded in the mind in previous years.

If you did not start at a very young age you can still start now with prosperity affirmations. You are able to reprogram your brain and therefore your life. Once you continually say your positive affirmations you will believe them on a conscious level and implant them at a subconscious level. You will find that in daily activities you will be putting these affirmations into practice.

When you achieve the mental state of believing that you want prosperity in your life, that you can have prosperity in your life, and that you are deserving of prosperity in your life, then you will be able to attain it.

The longer you think about being prosperous and repeat your affirmations in your head the quicker this will be able to come true. But it is important also to feel the emotion of the attainment of your outcomes. Rote repetition of words alone is not enough. Feel the feeling as if you have already attained the desired outcome.

Repeating affirmations is essentially programming your mind with positive thoughts. So many people dwell on the negative and it is these negative thoughts that govern their lives. If you can identify these negative thoughts and other factors that are preventing you from achieving prosperity then you will be able to control them better.

The more you believe in your ability to do great things and gain prosperity the more able you will be to actually achieve it. The power of your mind will allow you to overcome any obstacles no matter how big.

It is easy to let negative thoughts control our lives. A person who is constantly thinking about losing money and is afraid of it reflects this in their actions. This is why it is so important to control your thoughts and emotion in order to gain prosperity.

The words that you say to yourself everyday are what your mind will believe. If you keep all negative thoughts away then your mind will only be able to create a reality out of positive thoughts.

If you notice a negative thought or statement crossing your mind, just say Cancel That and as your say it, you can release that negative thought.

You can use a variety of techniques to help you with your affirmations. One technique is autosuggestions which are specially targeted affirmations. These are posters, audio messages or visual clippings that you can surround yourself with. This way you will be thinking about your prosperity all the time. Be sure that your prosperity affirmations have only to do with you and do not try to manipulate other people’s lives, even towards apparently positive outcomes.

Keep your affirmations in the present tense. If you are stating your affirmations with future tense they will always be reamining out there in the future. Bring your positive outcomes into the present by using present tense statements with your positive affirmations.

5 Easy Steps To Guided Imagery Meditation

With most things in life, having a guide — particularly at the beginning — makes it easier to master.

Learning this process to gain the full benefit of this glorious gift is also easier when you have some help. That’s what guided imagery meditation and visualization is all about. It’s like having a qualified guide or coach to take you through the process, anytime you want.

Here are 5 easy steps to guided imagery meditation and visualization:

1. Get into a comfortable and relaxed state. That’s the first and most important step to guided imagery meditation and visualization.

You’ve got to be relaxed to make meditation work and the more relaxed you are — the better. Allow your entire body to go limp. Simply release any tension as you relax your muscles. Start at the top of your head and work your way down your body, consciously relaxing every area and letting all tension fall away.

2. Calm the mind. It is possible to relax physically and still have your mind running at warp speed. But the state you want to achieve through your guided imagery meditation is the exact opposite. You need to free yourself from the continuous and random flow of thoughts.

The first time you try this, you’ll find your mind jumping from one thought to the next, without any reason or logic. It simply isn’t used to letting go and feeds on thought, whatever the nature. But freeing yourself of the internal dialogue is crucial for meditation and visualization.

3. Focus on your breathing. Take long, slow, deep breaths. Don’t strain though. Keep it easy and peaceful. Relax more and more each breath. By concentrating on your breathing, you help to control your mind’s tendency to think about other things. Focusing on your breathing alone occupies the mind while relaxing the body, which is ideal for our purpose.

4. Attain a meditative state of mind and body. Allow yourself to sink deeper and deeper into a more calming and peaceful place. This is your target destination — to find profound peace of mind and comforting tranquility where you are connected to Spirit and where no resistance exists. Once you’ve found it, you’ll know you’ve discovered heaven on earth.

5. Now that you’ve attained this wonderful state of complete relaxation, simply project images of what you want to accomplish on the screen of your mind. With guided imagery meditation and visualization, all you have to do is follow along. As the images are painted for you, simply add whatever elements of detail you like. This makes it your own — your unique creation unlike any other.

Choose something specific and be definite about your ability to manifest it. Involve as many of the senses as you can. Feel at one with your desire now. Do this and you will have applied the secret of guided imagery meditation and visualization to manifest what you want.

“Guided” means that your led every step of the way. It simplifies the process and shortens the learning curve. Simply choose a recorded CD that fits a desire of yours. And then follow the narrator’s voice as you are gently guided through the entire process.

Ready to tap into your unlimited mind power to create the life you want? Guided imagery meditation and visualization can give you everything you want, without the struggle, stress and strain. 5 Things You Shouldn’t Think About Before You Approach A Woman

What makes you afraid of approaching that beautiful woman?

Is it rejection?

That your not good enough for her?

Maybe a bunch of other little things?

In this article I’m going to go over a few things that most men think about before they approach a woman that creates fear and anxiety.

Thought Killer #1: The Perfect Woman

We have all heard the concept of putting a woman on a pedestal. But what does that really mean? It means you are hypnotizing yourself. Mind you, there is nothing wrong with that when it is done in the right way. In this case your doing it in the wrong way.

You start to create images in your mind of how wonderful and perfect this woman is. When you see things you start to believe those things. She becomes so perfect in your mind that there is no way that you would stand a chance with her. Your chances of now meeting this woman are spoiled because of these images you have put of her in your mind.

Thought Killer #2: She Must Be Stuck Up

She could be stuck up. But how do you really know? You haven’t met her yet.

You might even be the one who is stuck up. You might even be kind of creepy. Your the one staring at her without saying anything.

The point of approaching a woman is to see what she is like. Don’t make poor assumptions just so you can use it as an excuse to not approach her.

Thought Killer #3: She Is Way Too Hot

It’s great that she is a beautiful woman and great that you find her physically attractive.

What if I told you that woman you were afraid of and think is hot is really a man? Now what do you think of her?

As you can see she might not be who or what you originally think she is. You have to approach her and meet her to find out who she really is. Remember that all you know about a woman before you approach her is that you find her physically attractive. When you meet you may find her better or worse then what you originally thought.

Thought Killer #4: She Will Do Something To Embarrass Me

Most women will not do anything to embarrass you unless you do something to embarrass her first.

If you say something that is overly sexual or offensive then you can expect her to defend herself or be flat out scared of you.

The worst things that may happen to you is for her to turn her back, walk away, or just pretend she didn’t even hear you. Not really that bad when you think about it.

Thought Killer #5: Thinking About Sex

There are moments where thinking about sex isn’t bad. Before you approach probably isn’t one of the better times unless you got good self control.

If you approach a woman too sexually your going to send out some very creepy vibes. Focus your efforts on getting to know her. You can ramp up the sexual tension as things progress.

Conclusion

The moment these things start to cross your mind the less likely you are to bother approaching her. The key is to catch yourself before its too late.

Personal Improvement Creates Amazing Lives

Do you live an amazing life? Are you constantly amazed at the wonder that is your life?

There is sometimes very little difference between someone who considers their lives to be boring, disappointing, frustrating or just plain awful - and someone who sees every day as a wondrous, exhilarating adventure, full of excitement, surprise and joy.

So how is it that people who have essentially the same lives see them so completely different? In the answer to this question lies the secret many people look for and never find. And all along it lies right in front of them,all-too-easy to see.

The answer is conscious choice.

Conscious choice is the ability to take control of the process of the mind - and use it like the tool it was meant to be.

If we can choose to be grateful instead of angry, we see wonderful things instead of things to hate, dislike, or other negative emotions.

If we can choose to be interested or excited instead of bored and apathetic, we learn the world is truly an amazing place to live.

And what happens as our consciousness becomes aware of these things?

We see more of the same! As we see more of the same - our senses become tuned to recognize this and we tend to not see the negative things.

So we percieve the world in a different way. That perception is then further strengthened by our actions (actions are thoughts placed into reality) which in turn produces more of the same!

All of this is dependant on how we think.

Personal development is the step by step process each of us takes to learn this simple formula. And yes, absolutely there are many steps to take. But that is the wonder of it all! There is no end to personal development, self actualization, self improvement, self growth or whatever name you call it.

As you read the books written by the people you might like to emulate, or who have the apparent powers to perform incredible feats or journeys - remember this: they are just like you - no more and no less.

We who live amazing lives understand it is a simple matter of believing our lives are amazing, always looking for the amazing things that happen, always grateful for the amazing people and things in our lives, and continually, consciously working on our personal development.

You can do it too.

Go ahead and make your life amazing! (After all it already is!)

17 Steps To Success and Motivation

I would like to give you some tips on how to find motivation. Here are the things that I suggest you to do : the first thing is to ask yourself how to overcome your “Enemy”, which is called Procrastination.

Procrastination is the biggest enemy you have to fight in your life!They are deadly distractions on your road to success. You have to constantly be aware of it and stop procrastination leading you to make excuses not to act!

I suggest that you first look at your daily habits : are they protecting you from the enemy and pushing you towards your dreams? If not, well, you have some work to do! Let me give you some thoughts and steps that will help you on your turnaround process :

1. Close the doors of your past and open the ones of your future;
2. Expect to strech yourself, starting with small steps;
3. Build your foundations first and let the seeds grow;
4. What you are now is the direct result of your daily actions. You can only blame yourself for your results;
5. Where do you have low beliefs and doubts? What do you tell to yourself? Do you have the life you love?
6. Take the mindset to committment to the long-term : what you build today builds your future.Go to the next level; be in the winning game!
7. Success is a decision over procrastination that cost your dreams. If you choose to be a champion,
there will be no limits, because there will be no competition! You will stay out of the lines, enjoying freedom and happiness.
8. Become a warior of your life purpose and focus on it! Go from your comfort zone to your construction zone,even if it takes uncomfortable decisions.Never quit! (life is a symphony and there always will be high and law notes) : just stay in the process of growing!
9. Success is about hearing the truth and willing to challenge yourself;
10. Look at what you do behind the scenes : are your words, actions, attitudes leading you to success?
11. Move forwards your dreams on a daily basis. Plant the seeds, and the harvest will come one day;
12. Look inside yourself and tap into your greatness : Believe in you, move away from negativity,decide you will not be denied;
13. Listen to your heart : become INTERNALY DRIVEN, develop your spirituality (relation to your creative source).
14. There is a place for you if you want to step out and leave “comfort city”;
15. There is no option to quit : your determination will create your destination;
16. Don’t ask life to be easier, but become better; it’s how you react to adversity and pain that matters;
17. Again, refuse to give up on your ultimate achievement of your life purpose;
18. Fight adversity daily (negative people, stupid ideas) : This makes loosers!
19. Elevate yourself to leadership : separate you from the crowd and ACT!Develop an excited mentality!
15. Look at your 5 best friends? Are they successful, are they givers? If not, then look again
whoom you have been listening to! Listen to mentors and forward-thinking people.

Now, what would be the steps to reach success in whatever you do? How do you bridge the gap between who and where you are now and where and who you want to be in the future? How do you open the doors to prosperity, wealth and unlimited abundance?
First, remember we are all empowered to live a blessed life! So, have faith! Here are a few crucial steps that will help you on your road to fulfillment:

1. Take responsibility for your actions : look in the mirror and think about what you do!
2. Take Daily Actions : remember : faith without corresponding actions is nothing!Speak out lound positive affirmations in which you truly believe;
3. Go into mentorship : our relationships make our degree of happiness! Who are you with? Who are you listening to? Extract information from your mentors. They will challenge you, but will help you come out of your “hole”…
4. Check your words and actions : what do you speak out? Is it an image of championship? Does is it reflect your vision?
5. Be committed! Decide if you are willing to pay the price of your transformation. Decide to be persistent, focused on growth;Your committment and actions create your future;
6. Trust in yourself and love yourself;
7. Does your life purpose drive any decision you make? Who are you down deep? Does your “Why” move you? It must empower you.
8. Give an End to the excuses that are keeping you from growing : your “enemy” wants to steal your
dreams, your energy, your enthusiasm, your gifts, your motivation.
9. Listen, be silent : see your body with your eyes in a mirror. Look at what comes out. How do you feel? Is your heart full of success-attitude? Are you accountable for every action you take? Are you honest and loving? Listen to your inner voice.Our completion resides in us first.
10. Focus on making a difference in people’s lives. Don’t focus on money! This mindset of giving and
receiving will bring a big harvest;Intend to win, to explode and unleash your potential, your inner brillance!
11. Look inside you? Whomentors you? Be immersed in personal growth daily, in teaching and loving.
12. Shut the doors on excuses, exit your old life and open the door on prosperity. Give and not
take from others. Give value to the world. Stand-up, stand out, step-up into your goals and dreams.
13. Believe in the posibilities (others did it also). Don’t diminish yourself.
14. Have a “Yes” mind : your intention must be high, your attachement (the “how”) must be low : just let go! Use your “You” power. Be you. Develop a strong Wisdom of what you want to become;
15. Practice forgiveness : your heart will start vibrating with positive energy!
16. Happiness is a choice : “Be” first, “do and have” after : eliminate “When I…,I will”!
17. Control your emotions and learn not to be controled by them!

I hope these steps will help you on your way to wealth, growth and success!

Building Financial Freedom Takes Leverage

When you read a self-help book or a successful person’s biography, it can seem that anyone who is at all successful has overcome incredible odds to get there. Top entrepreneurs or motivational speakers all seem to have once been bankrupt, penniless and poverty-stricken or on the brink of a life of crime. You could almost be forgiven for thinking that building financial freedom requires financial failure to start with!

It’s certainly a common theme in the internet marketing world. “Yesterday I was washed-up, homeless loser; now here’s a picture of me in my yacht…”

I’m not really being cynical here. These stories are often extremely moving and motivating. Matt Morris’s story must be one of the most inspiring: brought up in a women’s shelter after abuse from his alcoholic father, later homeless and likely to follow his brother’s route to prison, he turned his life around and founded Success University.

This is, of course, both motivating and good marketing. Creating a life of success and riches when you have started at the bottom of the heap is motivating for those of us who live in relative comfort and ease. If he can do, then certainly I can!

Is it necessary to start at the bottom in order to get to the top? It does perhaps suggest that desperate backgrounds create more motivated people. The leverage: the desire to get out of that situation and into something better must be so much stronger than those of us who actually have a roof over our heads and eat three times a day.

So what is the answer? Do we have to go and live in a cardboard box first?

I don’t think so. I think that the lesson we can learn from these people is to create a certain amount of “leverage” in order to motivate ourselves from our current position to the one we want.

In personal development we are often told not to focus on what we don’t want, but what we do want. This is excellent advice because what we focus on we are more likely to create.

However, if we don’t really feel badly enough about our current situation, how are we to create the impetus to make a change? Sometimes, getting in touch with how we feel about our current situation can be just the motivation that’s needed.

If you need a few reminders to spur you into action, here’s a little list of baddies.

Financial Stress: There’s a recession on and you are feeling insecure. Even at the best of times you are only earning enough to keep the roof over your head and your family fed. Now, petrol/gas prices are rising, but your salary doesn’t look like it will improve in the next century. At this rate you will be 150 before you can begin to consider retirement.

The Daily Grind: The commute to work means you are already stressed and exhausted before you even start work. There’s a pile of work on your desk that will take you until midnight to complete and your boss is shouting for it by lunch time.

Feeling Trapped: You feel undervalued. The only person who seems to benefit from your hard work is the person at the top. You feel trapped in the day-to-day routine like a hamster in a wheel. The harder you work, the less time you have. What happened to your independence and drive?

OK, that’s enough before I get depressed! I must say, I have experienced all three of the above, and I am glad I took the leap to self employment.

If any of this strikes a chord with you, it might be time for you to make a change. Decide what you don’t want in your life any more, and then focus on what you DO want.

Someone once said that when we stop learning, we stop living, but you don’t have to have a college degree to take the step towards future financial freedom. If you are teachable and trainable you can start right now on that journey. It might take a little while to learn the necessary skills, but with many businesses you can learn as you go along (affiliate marketing, for example, requires very little knowledge or experience to start up). On the other hand, you could use some of your leisure time learning a new skill that could set you on your way to a better future.

If having your own business is something that interests you, it’s time to stop dreaming about it and get started! There is very little to lose and everything to gain.

Matt Morris did not sit around feeling sorry about his life and complaining. Not for long, anyway. The only reason he is where he is today is because he took action. He decided what he did not want any more, and then he decided what he did want.

Take a leaf from his book: the key to building financial freedom is in your hands.

You Don’t Have To Have A Photographic Memory To Sharpen Your Short Term Memory!

I often find myself envious of those who have a photographic memory. It seems virtually impossible for these individuals to forget anything! It would be wonderful to remember all those things that I study, all those birthdays and other holidays, and even small things like phone numbers, and lists! My interest in strengthening my short term memory lead me into researching various methods to achieve this goal. While conducting my research, I ran across a little concept called “Imagery”. Here, I will tell you why you do not have to have a photographic memory to sharpen your mind!

The mind is a very complex, mysterious but very interesting part of the body. The delicate components of the brain works collectively with the body on a consistent basis. Imagery is based on this very important fact concerning the brain. In order to fully understand the mind, you must first understand the concepts of short and long term memory. If you understand these elements of the mind, you can better understand the functioning of the brain as a whole, despite the fact that the functions are performed by many separate units.

For the sake of comparison, we will say that the short term memory is much like a digital video recorder. As we live each day, the short term memory is recording everything. It records the things that you see, the things that you smell, the things that you hear, even the things that you touch and taste. That’s pretty impressive, right? I think so! Now, when we think about the long term memory, let’s compare it to a library. A little odd, I know, but it will make sense. As you know, libraries contain many different books on numerous topics. Not all of the books are good. As a matter of fact, some are awful! However, they are still kept there for when they are required again.

Now, when something is processed by the short term memory, or “written” and “published” to the mind, if you will, the library (long term memory) comes up and snatches the ones that are important. The “book” will then be placed among the shelves of memories contained in the long term memory library. If a person tried, or engaged in many different memory techniques, or hypnosis, it is quite possible for them to recall memories locked away in the long term memory in great detail. Conversations could be remembered, and a number of other things.

Now, I will explain why imagery is so important when it comes to sharpening the short term memory. Basically, you will just want to consider the fact that all of your senses - seeing, touch, hearing, touch, and taste - have a direct impact on the way that you remember things. When using imagery, you are taking components from each of the senses and applying them to focusing on that which you want to remember. Let’s say that you need to remember to get a few items at a store. You will want to make a list for this. As you create your list visualize where each of these items are. If you do this, and happen to forget the list, you can easily recall what it is that you needed.

That’s pretty easy, right?

There are three basic strategies that can be used to sharpen your short term memory. The following outlines these:

1. When trying to remember something, pay special attention to physical details.

2. You should take what it is that you are trying to remember and then associate it with something else.

3. Now, you will want to observe any colors, and smells associated with what it is that you are trying to remember.

If you practice imagery to enhance your short term memory, you will find that you are successful each and every time!

Self Improvement: Achieving The Extraordinary

Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote a very simple, but profound
statement that literally began a change in me that has led to my extraordinary success in life. The little quip that began my life-long journey to success was, “Nothing great was ever
achieved without enthusiasm”.

What stirred the passions in my heart and my commitment to self-improvement was the thought that I too could achieve greatness in my life if I had the enthusiasm and commitment to go after the extraordinary. That high school American Literature class that I really did not want to take became the catalyst for my success. If I had not read Emerson, Thoreau and other great American authors
and thinkers, I may not be writing this to you today.

You see, I believe everything that happens to us happens by Infinite design. And sometimes, a high school English class can change your life. You know, one thing leads to another; good or bad.

Do not dwell on the negative; look for the positives in every situation. So instead of locking yourself up in your cage of fears and crying over
past heartaches, embarrassment and failures, treat them as your teachers and they will become your tools in both self-improvement and success.

Do you remember the movie Patch Adams starring Robin Williams? Its one of the great films that will help motivate you to improve yourself. Patch Adams is a medical student who failed to make it through the board exams. After months of suffering in melancholy, depression and suicidal attempts he decided to seek medical attention and voluntarily admitted himself into a psychiatric ward.

His months of stay in this mental hospital led him to meet many different kinds of mentally ill people. He met a catatonic, a mentally challenged, a schizophrenic and so on. Patch found ways of treating his own ailment and finally realized he had to get back on track. He woke up one morning realizing that after all the failure and pains he has gone
through, he still wanted to become the a doctor.

He carries with himself a positive attitude that brought him self improvement and success. He not only improved himself, but also helped the lives of the
people around him. He improved their quality of life. Did he succeed? Some say he became the best doctor this country has ever known.

So, when does self improvement become synonymous with success? How do you go from ordinary success to extraordinary achievement?
Let me share some thoughts with you that will get you on the road to abundant living and success.

See Your Future

The first thing you have to do is stop thinking and feeling as if you are a failure, no matter what your life experiences have been up to now. You have to begin with clean slate. As motivational speaker, Zig Ziglar, says, “You must change your stinkin’ thinkin’ today”. Start focusing on where you want to be. Now put all of your energy into achieving that goal.

Look forward and only use the past as a motivation to drive yourself to new victories. Many people expend far too much energy looking back at their failures and shorcomings. Look for new opportunities to stretch and grow.

Help Others

If you really want to help yourself, then start helping others. That’s right, when you help other people who feel so down and low about themselves, as their outlook improves you too will begin to rise up with them. Your confidence will soar and so will your results. Quoting my good friend Zig Ziglar again, “You can get everything you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want.”

Keep Learning

While it has been many years since I attended elementary school, I do remember vividly how I looked forward to each new day of school. Yes, I was
one of those kids who actually liked school. I loved being with my friends. I loved recess. I loved those special occasions where we would have parties
in the classroom. What I really loved was coming to school each day to learn something new.

It was so exciting to learn how to read and write; add and subtract; learning was a passion for me. I wanted to grow and expand my mind, but then
something strange happened. I became an adult and I looked at learning differently. It became a burden. I had too many other responsibilities to worry
about to learn more seemingly useless things.

It was at this same time that I found myself no longer enjoying life with the same enthusiasm as I did as a child. My point is simply this; if you commit yourself to a lifetime of learning you will find that you will rekindle the passion for living
an abundant life. Abundant living leads to extraordinary achievement!

Do The Little Things Too

Self improvement means doing the little things that most people will not do. So many times we get focused on the big, monumental goals and activities
that we forget the smaller fundamental steps that success requires. Warren Buffett grew his financial empire by paying close attention to the details of
each individual business. By doing the little things right, Buffett is now one of the richest men in the world despite starting with only one-thousand dollars

Embrace Change

If you are committed to self-improvement and living an extraordinary life, you must embrace change. You will find that you are constantly evolving in your
knowledge and beliefs so accepting change will be mandatory. In this fast-paced world of technological advancement, if you are not ready accept change,
then your success journey will be short-lived.

Self-improvement is an on-going process. There is no such thing as an “overnight success”. There is an ancient proverb that says, When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.

Are you a student that is ready for extraordinary achievement?

If so, your teachers are here for you. They appear daily for you as parents, employers, co-workers, ministers, neighbors, friends, relatives and people from every walk in life. When we open our doors and our hearts for self improvement, we increase our chances of success on the road of life.

3 Powerful Examples of Affirmations That Can Change Your Life Today

Affirmations are nothing more than powerful, inspiring statements made by you about yourself. They are designed to alter your self-concept.

The purpose of using affirmations regularly is to allow you to override the existing programming in your mind that is the result of years of conditioning from parents, teachers, friends, and family. Though often well-meaning in intention, the programming most of us received in our early years is actually holding us back from living the life we really want.

If you can’t honestly say that you are in fact living your dreams, chances are its limited thinking that’s preventing you from being all you can be, doing all you can do, and having all you can imagine. Powerful affirmations can help and to get you started on the right track, I’m about to reveal 3 examples of affirmations you can use or model to create your own.

Affirmations are powerful tools of change. You simply repeat the statement to yourself as though it were absolutely true. Follow the examples below and you will have learned another valuable tool for self improvement.

What affirmations do is they help you to change your existing beliefs. They are designed to upgrade your beliefs about who you are and what you are capable of accomplishing. If you have yet to accomplish all you want in life (and who has, really) than affirmations are something that could seriously benefit you.

Delivered in a positive, confident manner, affirmations eventually take over the existing belief to change your internal programming, making you stronger and more able than you were before. What makes them so effective is they help to create a vision of you having, being, or doing exactly what you want. It’s a preview of coming attractions, with you stepping into the new role you’ve chosen.

Here are the 3 examples of affirmations as promised:

1. Every day in every way, I’m getting better and better. (Emile Coue)

2. My past is nothing more than the trail I’ve left behind. What drives my life today is the energy that I generate in each of my present moments. (Wayne Dyer)

3. I know that I can only think and focus on one thought at a time, so I deal with each issue of my life, one at a time, before moving on to the next. (Art Stanley)

Choose statements that resonate with you and your primary goal. Stand tall. Feel confident and radiant. And speak your chosen affirmations with power and conviction. Use the above examples of affirmations to guide you and then create your own. Easy Visualization Exercises You Can Do In Just Minutes

Visualization is big word that describes a simple, yet powerful and effective technique for creating whatever you want. Before we get into specific visualization exercises you can do to get the most out of your sessions, let’s briefly explain the process.

When visualizing, the first thing you need to do is relax. Once you’ve reached a deep level of relaxation, you enable yourself to connect with the Universal Mind or Spirit. Don’t let that spook you — it’s an amazing process and once you experience this amazing feeling, you’ll want to revisit it again and again.

Once you’re in a deep state of relaxation (whether you’ve felt a connection or not) it’s a matter of monitoring your thoughts. The goal is to free your mind of the mental chatter of multiple thoughts, issues of the day and concerns. Once you’ve reached this blissful state, you simply imagine your goal or dream result. Get a picture in your mind’s eye of you in possession of the desired object or conditions. That’s what visualization is all about.

There are a few keys to making the process of visualization work for you. First and foremost, you’ve got to feel what it’s like to have the result you want. Feelings are a key component. Get a deep sense of what it will be like when your goal is manifested. Assume ownership of that goal. Make it yours. As Bob Proctor says, “name it and claim it.” What you’re doing at this point is creating the mold in spirit of what you will soon realize in the physical world. Repeat the process over and over again until what you want is yours.

When it comes to specific visualization exercises, step number one is to find a quiet, peaceful place where you can be alone for about 15 minutes or so. Natural settings are great, weather permitting, of course. A forest path, quiet stretch of beach, park bench, or even the bank of a stream have all proven to be excellent natural settings to engage in creative visualization.

Now here a few easy visualization exercises to quickly reach a state of relaxation. Simply repeat the word “relax” again and again, slowly, purposefully, feeling more relaxed with each occurrence. Deep breathing is another visualization exercise that will help you relax deeper and deeper. Another technique is to count down from one to ten. As you do so, imagine that you’re descending a staircase and each step down takes you to a deeper level of relaxation. Try it. It works like magic.

Once you’ve reached a peaceful, relaxed state of mind, you’ll still find a myriad of random thoughts entering your consciousness. These visualization exercises will help. Strive to offer no thoughts. As you notice your mind thinking about something, simply release the thought. Imagine yourself staring into space. Or imagine a giant white screen in front of you with nothing on it but blank space. Whenever you catch your mind thinking about something, simply return to the blank screen. When you offer no thoughts, you offer no resistance, so you vibration rises automatically.

Now take that blank screen and play a movie featuring you in possession of the goal you seek. Make it vibrant, exciting and alive, with you playing the starring role. This is another visualization exercise that works very well. Another similar approach is to imagine that you’re being honoured for your lifetime achievements. As part of the ceremony, there’s a PowerPoint presentation featuring numerous stills of you doing, having, and being all that you’ve imagined. Put yourself in that place and see yourself being congratulated by many people.

There’s no doubt that visualization is a powerful, creative tool. If you only take these easy visualization exercises and put them to work on a consistent basis, there is virtually nothing in the world that is beyond your reach. The only question is, will you?

Ready to tap your unlimited mind power and create the life you want? Use these easy visualization exercises and you will have the tools to have, be, or do you anything you can imagine - on autopilot. Live the life of your dreams starting today. Click here for more.
