this is very clear review, in low light situation if your camera cant focus fast enough you miss the moment in time, so i will stick with canon for fast focusing in low light and i think noise in high iso is good enough for wedding events.

fantastic review. very fair and over-viewing.
did you notice that Nikon won the Canon by 5 to 2 :)

Easily the best side-by-side review of the two cameras. Thanks for the unbiased, straightforward feedback!

surprised the Nikon’s AF struggled compared to the canon, but a fair review of each camera.

Very well done video, are you ever going to have the D3s in stock @ Adorama? I hope you continue these video’s in the future and hopefully you will include your comments about picture quality or some samples and explain what software is required for video since this is relatively new for some of us. Again, thanks for the very well done video.

No you forgot to show something !! And it is so important for a photographer who need to be very fast… Changing focus points with a Canon first you have to push another button than you can select from the wheel and this is one of the ‘whys’ Canon is nothing to me…
Nikon is great to change to focus points between two rapid frames… Of course we’ll not become a Bresson after all bit if this cameraa in the market these are important…
was one of my reason why I sell my Canon for a Nikon

Also after long time I see that Ergonomics with these eos1 series is very bad. Made pain in my arm…
Also no one talk about lens bodies…
I droped my lowepro bag from 80 cm and my Canon 50 mm lens inside it get broken : )
Buy Nikon, Use strong Nikon lenses and don’t care anymore megapixels and RGB jpg’s on the screen, after all Canon and Nikon images are same when u publish them on a magazine page or on a photo paper…
KyserPhoto10 on August 5, 2010 at 10:22 pm
@LeicaMy
You can set up Canon to do the same, no need to push a button to move focus point. Canon just gives you a choice.

Soon this Megapixel bullshits will be also over because slowly slowly people see actually they don’t need more pixels because results are same and more pixels adds nothing into to the image after a size… After all this things I just need simplicity to catch the right moment…. And according to me a Nikon body right decision for this…
Best

@KyserPhoto10
I am trying to explain all these things here like stupid techno guys but these are my real experiences and I really like Nikon simple design… As you know when we print them there are no difference between Canon and Nikon images…

Also this tiny joystick is very useless in the action too
Also 5D mark II’s rest of the focus points around the center are always missing the focus… This is made me really sad and I am not trusting this Canon company anymore. This is not ‘ user friendly design ‘ as they said.

Hey thank you for your reply,
Yes you are right but at ‘Quick Control Dial Direct’ position accidentally it is jumping to the multi-focus auto position.
At ‘ Multi Controller Dial Direct ‘ I can choose all points but only except center point, this is totally useless…
At the end I am trying to choose ‘ Normal ‘ position… But at Normal I have to push another button to change the focus point. This makes a delay to me.
