The HPI Savage series of monster trucks has blazed its own path in the hands of drivers the world over. The original Savage was definitely different with its ultra-narrow TVP chassis, forward-only transmission and plush suspension. After some time they released an electric version called the E-Savage, which has been an excellent truck. With recent advancements in both LiPo battery technology and brushless motors HPI went to work to develop what they saw as the definitive electric RC monster truck in their new Savage Flux HP Brushless RTR. With a Flux Tork 2200 brushless motor, twin LiPo batteries, all-metal transmission and much more, the Flux has a lot of potential. We broke one out of the box to see exactly what it could do.
