Recived my Monitor today…it is amazing….Im dual screening it with my 19″ dell monitor and is a great experience. No dead pixels at all. If anyone has any questions about it PM me. =)

@rafay321 just wondering what you think of the nvidia geforce GTS 240? its the one on the dell xps studio 8000 unfortunately they arent giving you upgrade options on their site.
rafay321 on December 29, 2009 at 11:52 am
GTS240 is a 128 bit card…..i don’t recommend it

Many people say that any TN panel is inferior to IPS…I say what matters is what you use it for.I don’t do any video editing, photography or graphics. And viewing angle is not an issue.I was about to buy the Dell U2410 for $600,then I hear about quality control issues.I like this one because of the price and resolution.I may decide on this one…has it performed well?
TheTechjunky on February 28, 2010 at 12:43 am
@ColBuzby yes its heald up pretty nicely. its taken alot of beating from playing video games and movies over the past year and it functions like I got it yesterday.
the shiny bezel is also a nice compliment

TheTechjunky on April 9, 2010 at 8:04 pm

SplinterCraig on May 10, 2010 at 1:08 am
that is a pretty nice quality web cam, what kind is it
TheTechjunky on May 10, 2010 at 1:53 am
@SplinterCraig I used the Logitech Webcam Pro 9000 for this video but now I use the Microsoft LifeCam Cinema which is HD and widescreen capable unlike the logitech which cant do widesreen format.
humbert0acevedo on May 23, 2010 at 12:42 am
Is it good for watching movies? I use PowerDVD to make movies in HD.
TheTechjunky on May 25, 2010 at 1:40 am
@humbert0acevedo According to Dells website its HD so it should be good for DVD viewing
mikelsaint on May 25, 2010 at 2:44 pm
I can’t seem to make my screen fit the entire Monitor. what do i change in the ATI to stretch it out?
TheTechjunky on May 26, 2010 at 10:59 pm
@mikelsaint Try changing the screen resolution to high maybe 1920×1080 which is best for this screen size
MysteriousKiwi on June 27, 2010 at 12:39 pm
@mikelsaint There is an option in the ATI Catalyst Control Center which fixes this. Set the overscan to 0% and it will fill the screen. Hope that helped!

is this monitor VESA compliant?
