Casio EX-FC100 VS. Canon SD1200 IS
I finally got the comparison video up after a lot of trouble from my video editor. Long story short it would not out put in HD so I had to go find a fix for that then it would not go through the slide show right, after it was outputted as a video file. So now everything should be good. I will soon have a video showing features exclusive to the EX-FC100 Camera. So stay tuned for that video.

Great review, man. I think the casio was the best of the two. Keep up the good work.

Thanks, I always like helping people. Personally I find the Canon to take better indoor pictures under unnatural light, because it has less noise, but other then that I think the Casio takes better outdoor pictures.

Dude, thanks so much for this video. I’m practically sold on the Casio now (I have a Canon SD1000 right now, but it’s dying).

the problem of canon is that they make a very nice shot but they lack on color. I have canon sd850 is and i like it but like i said lack of color compare to other camera.

Casio cost 2 times as much as canon 1200??
roccosperanza on December 24, 2009 at 7:50 pm
but I don’t see the canon take HD video or slow motion video as well as all the other high speed features.

can you tell me what ISO settings did you use for those comparison photos?
roccosperanza on December 30, 2009 at 6:47 pm
The only thing I can tell you is that the outdoor photos were iso 100. In door I’m sure were 400-800. I can also tell you the Canon takes better photos then the Casio at higher ISOs.

casio wins it all the way..my first digital camera was a Casio..second was a Cannon. I sold the Cannon, their exposure don’t look natural..I still have the Casio, and I’m going to get this FC100 soon..thanks for the review!
Jun85Vlog on April 2, 2010 at 10:52 pm
Thanks for this great review comparison! Is it just me or does the casio take more vibrant and colorful pics and videos than the cannon?
roccosperanza on April 3, 2010 at 12:34 pm
@Jun85Vlog The reason it does is because I have enhanced the color though the camera settings.

I had the Canon SD1200 its an amazing camera. I take pictures of faces, and the canon is great for that. It has amazing quality. I would get the Canon SD1200 .

I like the casio suprisingly. I love the highspeed features. But too bad at 210 or 420 0r 1000 fps the image res has to get small but I can deal with that. Also the canon seems to have a yellow tint…is that a filter?
