Can you recommend a reasonably priced projector for use w. home theater system?

Instead of a big screen T.V., we’d like to use a projector for occasional DVD’s and satellite programming. Our max budget is 50.00. Is there a particular brand or model you’d recommend? Any help would be appreciated!!

Laney: You can check out the InFocus projectors at Crutchfield.com. That brand will fit your budget. However, in all honesty, I have found that even the most expensive projectors ($15,000+) do not match the image quality, and color richness of a good plasma or LCD TV. Also, with a projector, you will have to have a totally dark room in order to see the picture clearly — no light from windows, skylights, lamps, etc. A dark room is important for any TV, but for projectors it’s critical. You might want to go and see some for yourself at Best Buy (and notice how the room they are demo’d in is very dark). Good Luck.

Tip: While shopping, look for projectors which use "DLP" technology.

I was looking at this site and they have home theater products. Maybe they will have what you are looking for.
