Can I get a universal remote with tis set up?
Ok, so I have an Infocus in-72 projector with an Onkyo HT-S5100 home theater system. I also have a Dish HD Receiver. I was wondering if it’s possible to connect them all on one universal remote. I want full Dish compatibility (like DVR and stuff like that), and I want to turn the projector on and off from the remote. I tried to connect my Dish remote with the projector, but it didn’t work. I also want to control volume on my Onkyo system from the same remote. Is there a remote which connects all of these? Also, as soon as my lamp runs out, instead of buying a new lamp, I’ll buy a new projector. Will this remote also connect any projector at all? Thank you in advanced.
Ok, so basically any price is ok. I just want to know which one is there to navigate the menu of my projector (like keystone and brightness).

The MX-900 is a professional remote and is great but you have to take a class to program them. Literally. The Universal Remote Control brand is very good and I recommend them all the time but there are easier to program remotes available. Not to mention that the MX-900 retails for $450. If you want a good remote then Harmony makes the Harmony One

It retails for $250 but is $169 here. It has had some very good reviews. The problem in your setup is that because the remote is activity based and keeps track of what is on and off you will get out of sequence often trying to catch both the projector and other devices with one button press.
You may be better off with this remote from URC http://astore.amazon.com/ewarehouse-20/detail/B000FL9E6U
At only $169 retail and just $79.99 here this remote is a powerhouse of features. The drawback is that it has been around for awhile so the codeset is not going to include some of the very latest devices. No worry though, it is a learning remote so you can teach it, button by button any new devices. Also the LCD buttons are editable so you can make the buttons say anything you want(you may have to abbreviate since the words are limited to 5 letters) It also comes with an RF adapter making this the perfect remote. You can point the remote at the projector to control it while the RF adapter is carrying the signal to the other devices. Awesome!
Have Fun.

Absolutely , i program them all the time, look into http://www.universalremote.com, they make excellent consumer and professional grade remotes, i prefer the mx900, its a great remote not only will it control all that gear it’ll trun it on and off with on push of a button, and it takes all the guess work of it, ie it makes sure your always on the correct inputs and such
