Wolfie123123 on March 8, 2009 at 9:10 am
My friend does and it’s not much louder under load, You’ll have a hard time getting it to full load anyway.
It won’t be the loudest thing in your PC anyway.

So long as there’s enough PCI-Express connectors then yes.
It’s nVIDIA certified for sure.
@everyone else: Corsair 1000W PSUs are the standard for pretty much ANY high-end build. You’d be fine.

hi all my zalman 1000w arrived today and installed it (please be aware i had a ULTRA X3 1000W never let me down but a noisey bastard period under medium to full) Back to my zalman hp1000 its a great deal quieter (A LOT!!) can just about hear it. turns out that this psu is neater than the ULTRA but woulve been nice 100% modular but i aint complaining one bit. it cost me £170inc del really all PSU’s should be the spec no excuse witha fan controller 7fans my system will be silent
good job ZALMAN

This may sound stupid but i have a Antec 1200 case and as you may know the power supply goes at the bottom of the case. On the power supply the 140 mm fan is on the bottom, can this be solved by turning upside down or will it just not fit altogether?
iOWNu1111 on May 18, 2009 at 10:20 pm
hey 3DGAMEMAN ive got a question which might be a stupid one, could i have 2 PSU’s on my pc? for example one for my motherboard and fans and the other for video cards etc etc??
sattanhellsing on May 23, 2009 at 3:30 am
Yes , you can do it . But one of the PSU will need to be powered manually before/after you start up your pc .
to explain : the Extra PSU will need to have a little custom switch on the 20/24 big rail . that it .
I have done it , is easy and require no big understanding in electric .

I have the 850w version and its awesome
soda480 on December 29, 2009 at 7:25 am
if anyone is considering purchasing a zalman PSU do yourself a huge favor and reconsider. i bought the 850w version and am getting an annoying squeal. do your research, research Zalman PSU noise and you’ll see what i mean.
mataslt on January 13, 2010 at 8:50 pm
could i connect a 250v power cord to a 230v psu?
